I see a lot of comments being made in 2020 and only that is a strong point by itself. Anyway, I think everyone should read this book at some point in their life because it has some strong points when it comes to being a classic, because it’s still relevant to this day. It showed me how the events leading to the russian revolution and the Stalinist era in a more fun way I should say, and even How the Stalinism really worked. Just finished reading this book in my English class and it really had an impact on me. I think that you should read this book because it shows in a good way how the revolution happened. I think the message of the book is that people will continue to use the weak people that need help, to take the power. The allegory is constructed very well and the characters are done well and you understand who they represent. I think the book is still relevant today because we still have dictators so it may be good to keep that in mind, that people can use others to take power. So it’s pretty obvious that the pigs don’t think that every animal is equal. The issue with animalism is that it is supposed to be based on that all animals are equal, but the pigs agreed that they needed the milk and apples because of their health and brainworking, they even claimed that it “has been proven by science”. Animal farm is a classic because it’s relevant of it’s time. The book made me understand how the communism revolution turned out, and how scary it is that people can take control like that. most apples and grass from the orchard. The pigs took grass and apples from the other animals because pigs was brainworkers and needed it. The book publishers have thought about everything so you understand that the book is about the revolution even if the characters are animals.Napoleon and snowball and the rest of the pigs think that they have earned most and best food. So the value is higher for someone who is 40 y/o than for me.The allegory in the book is pretty well done. A young person does not care as much as an older reader. Because the pigs are better like when the pigs eat with the people. The relevance of the book depends on the reader. In the end of the book pigs get the most value. I think the book is a classic because it is a timeless story about the russian revolution. The issue in the book is that all animals aren’t equally valuable. It is mostly about animals but the animals are like people. The different species have different equality like the people in real life. The book impacted me and made me understand a bit about the Russian revolution. It became a great commercial success when it did appear partly because international relations were transformed as the wartime alliance gave way to the Cold War. The manuscript was initially rejected by a number of British and American publishers, including one of Orwell’s own, Victor Gollancz, which delayed its publication. Orwell wrote the book between November 1943 and February 1944, when the UK was in its wartime alliance with the Soviet Union and the British people and intelligentsia held Stalin in high esteem, a phenomenon Orwell hated. It also played on the French name of the Soviet Union, Union des républiques socialistes soviétiques. Orwell suggested the title Union des républiques socialistes animales for the French translation, which abbreviates to URSA, the Latin word for “bear”, a symbol of Russia. Other titular variations include subtitles like “A Satire” and “A Contemporary Satire”. publishers dropped the subtitle when it was published in 1946, and only one of the translations during Orwell’s lifetime kept it.
The original title was Animal Farm: A Fairy Story U.S.

In a letter to Yvonne Davet, Orwell described Animal Farm as a satirical tale against Stalin (“un conte satirique contre Staline”), and in his essay “Why I Write” (1946), wrote that Animal Farm was the first book in which he tried, with full consciousness of what he was doing, “to fuse political purpose and artistic purpose into one whole”. The Soviet Union, he believed, had become a brutal dictatorship, built upon a cult of personality and enforced by a reign of terror. Orwell, a democratic socialist, was a critic of Joseph Stalin and hostile to Moscow-directed Stalinism, an attitude that was critically shaped by his experiences during the Spanish Civil War. According to Orwell, the book reflects events leading up to the Russian Revolution of 1917 and then on into the Stalinist era of the Soviet Union. “ Animal Farm” is an allegorical novella by George Orwell, first published in England on 17 August 1945.
